How To: Create a Template for your Posts

This post will show you how to create a template. I can create a template that includes that picture. Then, each time I create a new post from the template, that picture will appear. I would not have to go through the steps to import it separately into each new post.

Another use of a template might be If I wanted all of my posts to follow a specific format, say, "Intro", "Body" and "Summary". I would make a template with those headings to remind myself to include those into each post. Other uses of templates might include: mandatory warnings, disclaimers, public service announcements, etc., that I want to ensure each post contains.

4. Verify the slider "Visible to search engines" is turned ON.
    a. To turn on, "grab" the slider with the cursor and move to the right.

NOTE: The feature is ON when the "slider" is to the right and appears in green.

In addition to ensuring your blog access is turned on, there are other ways to make sure your blog is more likely to be found by search engines:

A) Ensure you use as many key words as possible in:
    i) Titles of pages and posts.
    ii) Labels when adding posts.
B) Ensure all images have Alternative Text (Alt Text) added, since some search engine algorithms are programmed to overlook items failing to provide alternative text.
