Tutorial: Set Comment Settings

This tutorial will guide you in determining settings for user comments for your blog.

The official Google support page "Manage your Comments" under the heading "set your blogger comments setting" was used as the basis for this guideline.

1.  Open blogger and select a blog.

2.  From the menu on the left, click Settings.

3.  Scroll until you find the "Comments" category

    a.  Under the main heading  area several sub-headings:

b.  Clicking on each sub-heading in turn will open a subsequent menu list of options for that feature:
    1) Comment location: To allow responses to your post’s comments, select Embedded.
    2) Who can comment: To restrict anonymous comments, select Users with Google Accounts or Only members of this blog.
    3) Comment moderation:

        a. Never: If you don’t want to review comments before they're published, select "Never"; all comments will be immediately viewable.

        b. Otherwise, choose "Sometimes" (at which point you'll have to add the number of days you wish to do a review; the default is 14 days), or "Always", which will hold comments in queue until reviewed.

4.  Click Save.
